The popular A&E hit reality show "Duck Dynasty" has infiltrated Tuesday's State of the Union address. Two characters from the show, which garnered a fair amount of criticism for lightning-rod comments on gays made by Phil Robertson, one of the characters on the show.
U.S. Rep. Vance McAllister, R-Swartz, announced today that Willie Robertson, one of Phil's sons, will be his special guest at tonight's State of the Union Address.
"I am proud to have my close friend, constituent and small business owner, Willie Robertson, attend tonight's State of the Union Address as my special guest. Willie is thankful for this opportunity and honored to attend. I look forward to the two of us representing the Fifth District in DC this evening and bringing some diversity to our nation's capitol."

Robertson's wife Korie will also be in attendance as the guest of South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham.
"Duck Dynasty" has become somewhat of a cause célèbre for conservatives after Phil Robertson, a character on the show who serves as the family patriarch, was suspended for making insensitive comments about gay men in an article for GQ. He was suspended by A&E but reinstated in part due to Republicans rallying behind Robertson.
Willie Robertson is one of Phil's sons.
Meanwhile Republican Senator Lindsey Graham's guest for the State of the Union, revealed on Twitter, is Duck Dynasty's Korie Robertson, Willie Robertson's wife.
