On Wednesday morning, a high school sophomore armed with two knives went on a stabbing rampage, injuring 21 people at his western Pennsylvania high school. The boy, identified as Alex Hribal, faces two dozen felony counts in the incident. Wednesday’s incident has also prompted school districts across the country to take stock of security measures in working to ensure the continued safety of students, a task that seems more monumental with each passing incident of school violence.
