An apartment building is seen at the moment of collapse, above, just after it was hit by missiles in an Israeli airstrike in the heart of Gaza on Aug. 23. Residents in the building were called 10 minutes before the attack and told to evacuate, after which at least two missiles slammed into the complex.
The building can be seen still standing at left in the photo below as a fireball burns next to it.
