Ferguson cop Darren Wilson quietly got married to another police officer two months after the fatal shooting of an unarmed black teen sent him into hiding and facing possible indictment by a grand jury, records show. Wilson, 28, tied the knot with Barbara Spradling, 37, on Oct. 24, and one of his lawyers signed the license as a witness. The New York Times, which first reported the nuptials, said the couple own a home together. Wilson's previous marriage ended in divorce, the records show.
A St. Louis County grand jury was meeting Monday to continue its deliberations on whether Wilson should be indicted in the Aug. 9 shooting death of Michael Brown during a confrontation. Wilson has not appeared publicly since the shooting sparked unrest in Missouri and reignited a national debate about police tactics and race.
