A tornado tore through Kimberly, Alabama, damaging the town's fire department, a church and a middle school on Monday night, police said.

"The fire station is destroyed," said Chief Ray Horn of neighboring Warrior, whose department handled calls when the tornado hit just after 10 p.m. (11 p.m. ET). "The Church of God was destroyed, too."

North Jefferson Middle School was also badly damaged, according to Horn.

There were no fatalities or injuries reported.

Kimberly and Warrior are located north of Birmingham.
