All 36 victims recovered from the Washington landslide have been identified, the medical examiner's office said, but seven people remain missing.
Denver M. Harris was positively identified Friday. The 14-year-old died from multiple blunt force injuries during the landslide that overcame a square mile of Oso, Wash., on March 22, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office said.
Denver's aunt described him to NBC affiliate King 5 as a boy who loved to play video games and enjoyed snowboarding. His 4-year-old cousin told King 5 that Denver was a "hero."
On Thursday, three additional victims were identified. Mark J. Gustafson, 55, Bonnie J. Gullikson, 91, and Michael W. Pearson, 74, all died from multiple blunt force injuries, the medical examiner's office said.
Search teams continued to scour the site of the slide Friday, and starting Monday, community meetings will be held to help residents plan how to recover from the devastation, according to Snohomish County government officials.
