Two patients being treated at one hospital were in critical condition early Friday after a FedEx tractor-trailer slammed into a tour bus they were travelling in, officials said.

The Enloe Medical Center in Chico, Calif., said they had received 11 patients after Thursday's crash on Interstate 5 that killed nine.

Five were later discharged while another four remained at the site in fair condition, authorities said.
