Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says that CIA Director John Brennan owes Senate Intelligence chief Dianne Feinstein an apology.

Reid told reporters Tuesday that he is “disappointed that the CIA ... is apparently unrepentant for what I understand they did," alluding to Brennan's comments earlier today to NBC's Andrea Mitchell at the Council on Foreign Relations.

Brennan denied CIA wrongdoing on Tuesday after Feinstein accused the agency of improperly accessing a computer used by her oversight panel.

Reid says he supports Feinstein “unequivocally.”

Asked if Brennan should resign as a result of the charge of CIA snooping, Reid responded “That's not my decision.”
