LSU is apparently throwing in the towel in its fight to add two fifth-year players who signed NFL teams from joining the Tigers football team.
According to multiple reports, LSU added two players to the schoolβs roster. The addition of Aiden Anding and Gabriel Reliford fills the schoolβs 105-player roster.
It comes days after a Baton Rouge judge granted eligibility to DaeβQuan Wright and Zxavian Harris. Wright signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent, joined the Browns after being waived by Philadelphia and then was cut by Cleveland. Harris signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent before the team waived him.
Louisiana plaintiffsβ attorney Ryan Downton said Wright and Harris are reviewing legal options.
It is not yet known whether the SEC will cancel a potential vote Thursday to expel LSU from the conference, which would require 11 schools in favor.
