St. Petersburg Subway Explosion: Scenes of Turmoil After Blast

An explosion tore through a subway train in the Russian city of St. Petersburg on Monday, killing at least 14 people, officials said.

The explosion killed at least fourteen people and injured at least 20 others, officials said.

One of the injured is transported outside the station.

The blast struck while Russian President Vladimir Putin was visiting St. Petersburg, Russia's second-largest city with around 5 million people, which is also where he was born.
