If you’ve been looking to change home internet providers, Verizon Fios is offering a deal you may want to take advantage of. The brand is offering new customers a Nintendo Switch gaming console upon sign-up.
The promotion ends on December 23rd or while supplies last (whichever comes first). But there is some fine print you should be aware of, explained below.
Verizon Fios Nintendo Switch deal
There are a few things you have to do to ensure you get a free Nintendo Switch with your new Verizon Fios plan, including:
Sign up for the Fios 1 Gig or Fios 2 Gig plan
Other Verizon Fios internet plans do not qualify for this deal. In New York City, the 1 Gig plan costs $99.99 per month and the 2 Gig plan costs $119.99 per month.
Keep your account in good standing for 14 days after service installation
That means paying all bills on time and adhering to the terms and services.
Redeem the Nintendo Switch offer within 60 days of sign-up
Don’t forget to log in to your Verizon account and redeem this offer within 60 days, or it’s gone for good.
Keep your internet service active for 180 days
This is the big one. If you cancel your plan within 180 days of signing up, Verizon will charge you the full $330 retail price of the Nintendo Switch. So be sure you’re keen on Verizon Fios before committing to this offer.
What if the Nintendo Switch offer sells out?
If the Nintendo Switch sells out, Verizon is offering the same get-it-free deal on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE 5G tablet and the Samsung Q7F 43-inch TV, though I think the Nintendo Switch is the best option of the three.
