If you’re in need of new wireless earbuds, Apple AirPods are currently 33% off. They are an NBC Select Wellness Award winner, and some of my favorite earbuds for any iPhone owner. In my experience, these AirPods have a semi-open fit and impressive noise cancellation. They leave your ears slightly open to your environment but can still cancel out noise from things like air conditioners, plane noise and office chatter. You can learn more in my Apple AirPods 4 ANC review.

Apple recently released AirPods Pro 3, so now might be the best time to take advantage of deals on AirPods Pro 2. They are some of the best wireless earbuds for iPhone owners, with great noise cancelling and sound quality. Plus, they are small, lightweight and easy to travel with.

This isn’t the lowest price we’ve seen for AirPods Max in the past few months, but any discount on these over-ear headphones is appreciated — they are expensive at full price.

NBC Select editorial projects manager Rebecca Rodriguez has used AirPods Max for years. They have excellent sound quality that makes music, shows and even podcasts pop. They also have powerful noise-cancelling and a clear transparency mode, plus they come in five colors.

AirPods 4 are the best choice if you hate the feeling of rubber eartips in your ears — they have a semi-open ear design that leaves your ears mostly free to hear the outside environment. This version is the most affordable, but does not have noise-cancelling.

These earbuds aren’t quite as premium as the plus version, but have a lower price tag and many of the same features, including noise cancelling and transparency modes. The buds get up to eight hours of battery life and the charging case brings that total up to 24 hours.

These over-ear headphones are over 50% off, and are a great option if you want wider, more detailed sound quality compared to wireless earbuds. They can connect wirelessly over Bluetooth or wired with the included USB-C cable, and get up to 40 hours of battery life on a single charge.

These earbuds connect to your device wirelessly, but have a physical wire between the buds themselves that makes them harder to lose or misplace, in my experience. The buds also magnetically attach to each other, which automatically pauses your music.

I will point anyone to the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones whenever they are under $200. At about $190 this Prime Day, they are a steal and blow most comparable headphones out of the water in terms of comfort, sound quality, noise-cancellation and portability. While newer models like the XM5 and XM6 exist, they are not nearly as good a value as this deal.

These are Samsung’s premium wireless earbuds, and they work best with other Samsung devices, particularly its smartphones. They have a stylish, industrial design with straight edges and subtle lights on each earbud. design touches like a slightly transparent case and subtle lights on the earbuds. They also have an IP57 dust and water-resistant rating — much higher than most of its competitors.

Anyone with an Android phone (not a Samsung phone) should consider these earbuds — they are my go-to when I am using an Android phone. Part of the reason is that they have small wing-tips built into each earbud, which make them fit more securely for things like outdoor running and gym work. They also come in bright colors like pink and green.

These are some of the best noise-cancelling earbuds you can get at this discounted price. Each earbud is slightly larger than AirPods or Google Pixel Buds, but has stronger noise-cancelling, a more bass-forward sound and more space for touch control.

These over-ear headphones are great for travel — they are lightweight, comfortable, have great noise cancelling, come with a hardshell carrying case plus a wired audio cable option for seatback entertainment on flights.

This is essentially Samsung’s version of a budget-friendly active noise-cancelling earbud. If a good ANC mode is your main concern, then you’ll be happy with this heavily discounted Samsung earbud, which is currently on sale for 48% off. It also has a comfortable fit and IPX2 water and dust resistance.

These are the headphones I use when I am not testing out new headphones. They have tactile on-ear controls, excellent sound quality and pair quickly and easily with my Sonos soundbar. You can learn more in my Sonos Ace review.

These are one of my favorite budget earbuds at their lowest price ever. They have all the features you would expect from much pricier earbuds like active noise cancelling, transparency, Bluetooth multipoint and a wireless charging case. They’re also comfortable to wear for hours at a time, in my experience. If you are looking for a slight upgrade, the Anker Liberty 4 Pro are also on sale.

These on-ear Sony headphones are a steal at under $40. While they don’t have automated noise-cancelling, they get up to 50 hours of battery life, fast charge quickly and can connect to two devices at once.

These Soundcore earbuds are at their lowest price ever this Prime Day, and have a few convenient features that make them stand out from the competition, including a built-in USB-C cable for charging and a small screen on the case that shows power levels.
