More than 20 space, science and educational organizations sent a letter to Congress on Friday saying that “draconian cuts” to NASA’s budget proposed by the White House would “directly undermine” the agency’s efforts to return astronauts to the moon, calling the proposal “destructive” and “short-sighted.”
