The internet seems to just love to have fun with the Kelce family, and matriarch-turned-"Traitors"-reality-star Donna Kelce is apparently no exception.
Donna Kelce, mother to football stars Travis and Jason Kelce, was subjected to the "meme treatment" over the weekend after TMZ published a story about her decision to remodel her "modest" Florida home. The news outlet's article just briefly mentioned that Donna Kelce "hired a company to replace 9 windows and 6 doors."
Those who remain chronically online gave the story a sarcastic response by treating the TMZ story as if it was a groundbreaking event.
Some merely made sardonic jokes such as, "seems like oil prices not reacting well to the news of Donna Kelce‘s renovation." But others used commonly memed images to go the extra mile.
One X user posted a 2011 photo of the White House's Situation Room during an operation to kill terrorist Osama Bin Laden that was released by former President Barack Obama. It was captioned "TMZ learning about Donna Kelce’s home remodel."
Another user posted in a similar vein with a photo of former President George W. Bush learning about the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks. The joke was someone whispering to Bush that Donna Kelce had chosen "triple french doors" with the same type of urgency.
Television writer Carina Adly MacKenzie quipped that she was hoping for an update on the renovation because she had been "worried about her doors and windows all weekend."
"We can’t just move on from this," MacKenzie wrote in a post on X.
Even Jason Kelce got in on the fun about his mom's renovation meme, posting his own joke on Sunday.
"BREAKING!!" the retired NFL player wrote on X. "Sources confirm Donna Kelce’s eldest son watched 2 hours of Bluey yesterday."
This is hardly Donna Kelce's first rodeo on the internet meme cycle.
She had some memorable moments this year through her brief stint on the U.S. version of the reality competition show "Traitors." She was cast out of the show after just three episodes, after her co-stars sussed out her role as a "secret traitor," but Donna Kelce still left her mark.
Images of her shrugging while looking slightly disheveled following a physical challenge went viral. Her nonchalance captured viewers' hearts all over the internet.
