The singer, songwriter and actor revealed on the 3rd hour of TODAY April 15 that he has a new album coming out later this year.

“I’m actually sharing this for the first time. I have a new album coming in the fall,” he said. “I have a few songs before that, but the album is out in the fall. It’s going to be called ‘Confessions of a Lonely Heart.’”

He explained what fans could expect from the album.

“It’s loneliness, but also optimism, happiness. A lot of good pop music. … We’re not sad. We’re celebrating,” he said.

“Confessions of a Lonely Heart” follows his previous records: 2019’s “Before We Begin,” 2022’s “There And Back Again,” and 2023’s “House on a Hill.”

Nam most recently starred on Season 4 of “The Traitors,” making it to the final three before he was voted out by fellow Traitor and eventual winner Rob Rausch. That betrayal inspired Nam’s single “How the Fire Started,” which he performed on TODAY and will be included on “Confessions of a Lonely Heart.”

Nam’s music video for the song featured several of his “Traitors” cast members, including Rausch, who was set on fire by the group.

“No Robs were hurt in the making of this music video,” Nam joked on TODAY.

“The cast members and I, we wanted to get our revenge in a cheeky way, and so the song is about betrayal, and we thought it would be a great way to kind of pull the season together and end it on a fun note,” he added.

Nam said he convinced Rausch to appear in the video, noting Maura Higgins — who also voted to banish Nam — agreed to take part in it, as well.

“I called him and I was like, ‘Hey, I need you to do (this),’” he recalled. “He’s like, ‘This is literally the least I can do after what happened.’ So I was like, ‘Alright.’ And then Maura, as well because Rob did stab me in the back. So did Maura. They both did. So, they were very, happy and eager to help.”
