Snoop Dogg is sharing love and support for his children after the tragic death of his baby granddaughter.

The rapper seemed to address the passing of his 10-month-old granddaughter, Codi Dreaux, in an Instagram post over the weekend that sent love to his grieving daughter, Cori Broadus, 26.

Snoop on Saturday shared a photo of himself with Cori and his two sons, Corde and Cordell, captioning the post with a heart and prayer hands emoji.

His message of family support comes after Broadus shared earlier in the day that she had lost her daughter. In a since-deleted Instagram story that is now recirculating online, Broadus wrote, "Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi 🪽."

In February 2025, Broadus announced the birth of her daughter, born prematurely at 25 weeks. "I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed," wrote in an Instagram post announcing the birth.

Broadus delivered Codi via C-section after doctors told her she was developing HELLP syndrome, which stands for Hemolysis Elevated Liver enzymes and Low Platelets, People magazine reported. HELLP syndrome is a severe form of pre-eclampsia that mainly affects the blood and liver. According to Cleveland Clinic, health care providers typically recommend delivery as soon as possible if the expectant mother is 34 weeks pregnant or more.

Broadus announced three weeks ago that her daughter was finally able to go home after 10 months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. "She’s home.🤍," Broadus captioned an Instagram photo of the mother and daughter in bed together. "Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love."

She has since shared her grief on social media, writing Sunday, "I want to join you badly" over a photo of her and her infant daughter, and then posting, "You were supposed to bury me ... not me bury you Codi."

Over a video of her holding her baby, a caption read, "waiting for someone to tell me to wake up and this is just a bad dream."

Broadus and the baby's father, her fiancé, Wayne Deuce, have shared their journeys as NICU parents on social media over the past 10 months. Deuce posted a video documenting the "rollercoaster of emotions being a NICU parent" as his daughter was moved from an incubator to her "big girl bed."

Neither Broadus nor Snoop Dogg immediately responded to requests for comment.
