Things haven't been easy for Madonna since she split with Guy Ritchie in 2008.

In a new interview with The Sun, the 53-year-old singer said she feels like her "head is going to explode" from the stress of being a single, working mother. "I'm not going to lie -- it's hard work having four kids and doing all the work I do."

The singer further detailed her struggles on the song "I Don't Give A," from her upcoming album "MDNA." "It's about the life of a single mother," Madonna explained. "It's a challenge juggling everything -- multi-tasking is my middle name. I try to express that."

Madonna -- mom to Lourdes, 15, Rocco, 12, David, 6, and Mercy, 5 -- speaks candidly about her divorce from film director Ritchie, 43. "Sometimes I cope with it very well," the Material Girl said. "Sometimes it's a struggle."
