Reality TV star Kathy Hilton revealed that her husband, Rick Hilton, fired a shotgun after confronting burglars at their Los Angeles home last month.

Hilton’s home was broken into on Nov. 15 while she was away in Las Vegas, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast member told NBC News at the time. Hilton was in Vegas for BravoCon, the gathering of reality TV figures whose shows, like “RHOBH,” air on the Bravo network.

“They came in, broke the glass, and it was raining and our security guy was down at the guest house,” Hilton told “Extra” at The Hollywood Reporter’s 2025 Women in Entertainment Gala on Wednesday.

Her husband heard the glass break and “got a shotgun out,” she added.

The three burglars broke into the primary bedroom, after which her husband confronted them, yelling, “Get the f--- out of here. The police are on their way,” Hilton told “Extra.”

Their security guard then arrived at the scene, the burglars ran out and her husband “started shooting the gun out of his office in the air,” she added.

Since the incident, they have increased security at their house, Hilton said.

The Los Angeles home of Hilton’s fellow “RHOBH” star Sutton Stracke — who was also in Las Vegas for BravoCon — was broken into on the same day as Hilton’s, according to a statement from Stracke. Bravo is owned by NBCUniversal, the parent company of NBC News.

"There is no information at this time to believe the two incidents are related," The Los Angeles Police Department told NBC News on Thursday.
