Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s kids are growing up!

Garner wrote a moving thank you to her kids’ elementary school teachers, and all educators in general, in a post June 13 after a “beautiful 13 years” at the institution.

“Thank you for caring about my children with me,” she wrote, “for tying their shoes and holding their hands. Thank you for disciplining my kids when they’ve needed it and for offering more hugs than some children receive in a lifetime.”

She went on to thank her kids’ teachers for all the “hard work that goes into having high expectations.”

“I’m sure that the demands and frustrations of the classroom can obfuscate the mission behind your place in it,” she said. “But what’s more noble than teaching children — not a whole lot, as far as I can tell.”

The “13 Going on 30” actor went on to list some of the highlights her kids experienced in their time at the school, writing that it had been a “safe haven” for her family.

“Thank you for a beautiful thirteen years,” she concluded. “I cannot imagine our family landing anywhere better.”

Garner’s youngest, Samuel, graduated from elementary school this week, E! News reports. She didn’t name which school her children attended.

Her oldest, Violet, graduated from high school this year as well. In a May 20 post, Garner shared several photos of herself in tears as she processes it.

“Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate,” she captioned the slides, adding a “bless our hearts” for good measure in parenthesis.

Garner and Affleck, who divorced in 2018 after separating three years prior, have largely kept their children out of the limelight. Garner went so far as to advocate for an anti-paparazzi bill in California that would criminalize photographers’ taking pictures of children without their permission.
