Less than two week after he settled a lawsuit over an alleged fight during a pickup basketball game, R&B crooner Chris Brown was summoned Monday by Las Vegas police in an alleged fight during a pickup basketball game.

Brown, who's in Vegas performing at Drai's Beach Club on Tuesday night, denied getting in an altercation, his managers told E! News. "An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises," they said.

Cops said Brown and others were playing hoops at the Palms Casino Resort about 3 a.m. Monday (6 a.m. ET) when a fight broke out and Brown, 25, punched an unidentified man. The victim prepared to defend himself and was then hit by another man reportedly with Brown, cops said. The victim was treated at and released from a hospital Monday morning.

Violent Crime Squad detectives responded but reported that "Brown was not available to speak with them." Brown is under summons to appear in Clark County Justice Court and has the option of signing a citation for misdemeanor battery or facing prosecution. He hasn't responded yet, cops said.

The Palms had no comment.

Brown settled a lawsuit late last month over a similar altercation at a Los Angeles gym in 2013. The amount of the settlement is under seal.

Brown was released from a Los Angeles jail last June after serving 3½ months for a parole violation stemming from his 2009 guilty plea to felony assault on Rihanna, his girlfriend at the time. The two have since patched things up, and last month they released the duet "Put It Up."

Brown's managers didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
