Queen Camilla is introducing the new member of the royal family: a rescue dog named Moley.
The queen, 77, posed with her new pup in his first official photo, which the royal family shared Sunday.
"Meet mischievous Moley, The Queen’s new much-loved canine companion who was recently adopted from @Battersea where Her Majesty is Patron," the caption read.
Camilla adopted Moley from the Battersea Cats and Dogs Home. According to its website, the organization works to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs and cats in need.
Camilla revealed she took in the new rescue, who was 8 weeks old at the time, in February in a video Daily Mail royal editor Rebecca English posted on X.
The queen said that Moley is a "bit of everything" and that his name came from his appearance — "Looks just like a mole," she said.
Moley found his new royal home after the queen's beloved Beth, a Jack Russell terrier also adopted from Battersea, died in November.
The queen was set Monday to visit the Royal Horticultural Society — the U.K.'s leading garden charity — and the BBC Radio 2 Dog Garden at the Chelsea Flower Show, a space designed for dogs with grassy areas and a large tree for shade.
The garden has brick paths engraved with the names of dogs of Radio 2 presenters and RHS ambassadors "to reflect the special place dogs hold in the nation’s hearts and gardens," the royal family's post read.
The path will also feature the names of the queen's dogs: Bluebell, an adopted Jack Russell terrier; Moley, the newest addition; and the late Beth. The family said the king's dog, Snuff, will also be included.
