With her loved ones at her bedside, Bobbi Kristina Brown remains in a coma in a Georgia hospital but is breathing with the help of a ventilator, according to family and friends. The 21-year-old daughter and only child of the late pop diva Whitney Houston and R&B singer Bobby Brown has been hospitalized since Saturday, when she was found face down in a bathtub in her suburban Atlanta home. She was alive after her husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend attempted CPR, Roswell police said.

Gospel singer and family friend Kim Burrell said Brown was put into a medically induced coma to stop her brain from swelling and limit any potential brain damage. "We’re still not out of the woods. Her eyes did move a little bit last night," Burrell told "Access Hollywood" on Monday. "We're hoping that it’s just not a reflex. We’re hoping that it’s a conscious choice."

Brown's cousin, Jerod Brown, told NBC News that the family is praying for her to pull through: "She’s been hit with a couple of boulders in life, but you know, she keeps getting back up and fighting the good fight." Officials at North Fulton Hospital have not commented on Brown's condition, and a statement released by her father asked for privacy. Police said they found no drugs at the home and were treating the incident as a medical investigation.

The scare comes less than two weeks before the third anniversary of Houston's death on Feb. 11, 2012, in an eerily similar setting. Houston, 48, was found dead in a Beverly Hills, California, hotel bathtub after struggling for years with drug addiction.
