Elmo left Sesame Street for a bit to visit the chicken shop.

Popular YouTube personality and "Chicken Shop Date" host Amelia Dimoldenberg invited Elmo for a playdate to talk dating, astrology, five-year plans and more.

As he's been doing since the 80s, Elmo offered up lots of wisdom to Dimoldenberg, whose popular series features her dating and interviewing celebrities during a visit to a chicken restaurant.

Get out of your head, he suggested — insightful advice for a woman known for her witty, but awkward, interviewing style.

"Just be yourself," Elmo said.

Dimoldenberg wanted to know why Elmo thought she was still single.

"Yeah, you’re a wonderful person. You’re kind, you’re funny, you’re smart, you’re beautiful, you know? Just accept love," he said.

Dimoldenberg then revealed that she "met someone recently."

Could she be talking about actor Andrew Garfield? He was a recent guest on her show, which set the internet on fire as fans looked for sparks between the two.

"What do you think of them?" Elmo asked Dimoldenberg.

"Well, I really like them, and I feel like it went well," Dimoldenberg said. "But I feel like I was in my head again, and maybe I sort of friend-zoned them before we could even begin."

"Oh, Elmo sorry to hear that."

"It was a great date, though," Dimoldenberg said. "We’ve got a real chemistry ― you know, remember the word I taught you? I don’t know, we’ll see how it goes, but ―"

At that point, Elmo bestowed upon Dimoldenberg perhaps his most important lesson of the interview: "There’s always room for love."

However, he didn't seem to take his own advice when it came to his pet rock, Rocco, who crashed his playdate about five minutes in.

"Oh my goodness, Rocco's here," Dimoldenberg pointed out.

"No he’s not," Elmo said, beginning to panic.

"Yeah, Rocco’s just right in front of you, Elmo," Dimoldenberg said, pointing to the rock, who had just appeared on the table before them.

Elmo sighed, clearly irritated.

"Are you kidding?" he said, looking around for someone to blame. "Who brought Rocco?"

His final words of wisdom for Dimoldenberg were a warning.

Maybe you "shouldn’t take advice from a 3 1/2-year-old monster on love."

But would it really be so wrong to take love advice from the monster who taught millions how to laugh?
