Clinton, 78, was admitted to the hospital Monday for testing and observation after he developed a fever, Ureña said then.

Clinton, the 42nd president, and his family "are touched by the kind messages and well wishes he received," Ureña said Tuesday.

"He sends his warmest wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season to all."

Clinton has faced a number of health scares since he left office in 2001.
