A Republican candidate for Senate in Iowa says she’ll get rid of pork in Washington. Pretty specific parts of the pork, it turns out.

“I grew up castrating hogs on an Iowa farm, so when I get to Washington, I’ll know how to cut pork,” candidate Joni Ernst says in the new television ad, entitled “Squeal.”

Ernst is one of five Republicans vying for the nomination for the Senate seat currently held by Iowa Sen. Tom Harkin, who is retiring. The primary is June 3.
