PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — On the 20th anniversary of her famed Beijing speech on women's rights, Hillary Clinton took aim at a presidential candidate she feels hasn't done enough on the issue: Donald Trump.
Clinton called Trump out for repeatedly insulting women and played off his recent claim that he "cherishes" them.
"If it's all the same to you Mr. Trump, I'd rather you stop cherishing women and start respecting women," Clinton said to large cheers from the Portsmouth crowd.

Though Clinton maintained she "can take it," she said Trump has thrown "a lot of heat" her way in recent weeks, and she looks forward to debating him in the general election if she gets the chance.
Trump wasn't the only Republican mentioned in her speech — Clinton also took jabs at Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio and Rand Paul on women’s health issues.
New Hampshire Sen. Jeanne Shaheen introduced and endorsed Clinton at the "Women for Hillary" kickoff event, emphasizing her trust in the former secretary of state.
"Hillary doesn't look for a fight but neither does she shrink from one if the cause is right," Shaheen said. "I’m a woman for Hillary. She is tested. She is our champion and she is our friend."
Shaheen also took a thinly veiled dig at Trump, saying America needs a president who’s tough, but not a "bully with a glass jaw."
Clinton ended her speech in Portsmouth with the famous line from her remarks in Beijing two decades ago.
"I wasn't sure how the speech would be received, but I really believed what I had to say needed to be said and it’s worth saying again: Human rights are women's rights and women's rights are human rights once and for all," she said.
