At least three people were killed by trees that fell during severe weather in California, where torrential rain and flooding continue. Some 33 million people were under flood alerts. Firefighters rescued at least 16 people caught in mudslides in Los Angeles. Some areas in Southern California have received seven to 10 inches of rain, with an additional three to five inches possible. NBC News’ Liz Kreutz reports.
