Graduation season is winding down and millions of graduates around the globe are preparing to enter the working world. For many, that means moving to cities away from their alma mater.
Over the past year, LinkedIn analyzed the migration patterns of its 300 million members to determine the top 10 destination cities for recent graduates, which it defines as members who were 0 to 3 years removed from their graduation year.
The results show a mix of the expected, like San Francisco, and the surprising, like Madrid, despite the high youth unemployment rate in Spain.
