Rare Twin Twisters Decimate Small Nebraska Town

Two people died, including a 5-year-old, after two giant tornadoes touched down in Pilger, Nebraska, on Monday. The funnels destroyed most of the town. View a photo gallery of the aftermath here.

Scientists aren’t sure how often storms yield two tornadoes at the same time – but according to one meteorologist, “They may actually be more frequent than we think.”
