The other day Andy got a press release about a protest at the Bain offices in midtown, here in New York City, by workers from Bain-owned companies objecting to jobs being shipped overseas. As it happens, their offices are not far from ours, so Andy headed over there to see what there was to see. I told him I'd seen a crazy anti-Bain puppet at Comic Con and if that showed up it'd make quite a scene on a city street. Sure enough, it did.
It turns out the puppet, Bain: The Job Destroyer, is the product of the Occupy Wall Street Puppet Guild. With its "power mitt" and backpack gauged for outsourcing, downsizing and loopholes, it has been making appearances at Bain protests since Romney's nomination in August.
Sorry Mr. Romney, this is one puppet you can't fire.
