ZURICH - A passenger train derailed into a ravine during a mudslide in a mountainous region of southeastern Switzerland Wednesday, local police said. Several people were injured when at least three carriages came off the tracks near the village of Tiefencastel, less than 31 miles northwest of the St. Moritz ski resort. Photos sent by passengers to Swiss media show one carriage dangling precariously after falling into a ravine next to the tracks. Two helicopters were at the scene but rescue efforts were complicated by the mountainous terrain, Swiss air-rescue service Rega said.
