Former Gov. Howard Dean (D-VT), who served as chairman of the Democratic National committee from2005-2009, was a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2004.
On Thursday, Howard Dean spoke to The Nation about the health care ruling, saying that it “pretty much ends the debate about the nature of the private sector in the healthcare business—it’s here to stay in a very big way.”

In an opinion piece for Red State, Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA) criticized the Obama Administration, calling them a “nexus of Liberalism and Incompetence…and this is a deadly combination.”

The ref called a foul, but didn’t interrupt the play” –referencing Chief Justice John Roberts’s comments during his 2005 confirmation that “judges are like umpires. Umpires don’t make the rules, they apply them.”
