Former Governor Jeb Bush (R-FL) thinks the Republican party's has lost the momentum it once had during the time of Ronald Reagan.

Bush called those years a "renaissance of conservative reform-minded ideas," but said that it lately it has begun to "stall out."

One of the areas he believes Republicans can make progress is Immigration reform. "We need to have a conversation about what a twenty-first century immigration system should look like," Bush maintained. 

He hopes that with comprehensive immigration reform, in five years, "we should look back, and there should be fewer people coming illegally because we have an open legal system."

As for politics, Bush is often talked about as a potential 2016 contender, but he suggests that he won't begin to think about a presidential bid "until it's the proper time to do so."
