The big news of the morning was that Arizona's Republican Governor Jan Brewer announced that she will endorse Mitt Romney for President. "It was a difficult decision," Brewer said, "but I think Mitt is by far the person that can go in there and win."
Brewer's endorsement comes just two days before the critical primary in her state as well as Michigan. The other candidate hoping to make a splash in those two contests is Rick Santorum.
He joined me this morning to talk politics. Santorum stood by his comments over the weekend that President Obama is a "snob" for saying that all Americans should go to college.
He said that professions such as a plumber or artist or carpenter, are ones that we, "should not look down our nose at and say they're somehow less because [they] didn't get a four-year college degree."
As for his prospects on Tuesday, he's optimistic, saying his campaign's "positive message of hope... is really resonating here in Michigan and across the country."
