"Fast & Furious" star Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas did not have alcohol or drugs in their systems on Nov. 30 when the two men died, but the red Porsche they were in was traveling at an "unsafe speed," according to a Los Angeles County coroner's report released Friday.
According to the investigator's findings, the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT was traveling at "approximately 100+ mph" before the crash occurred, and was "almost split in half" by the impact.
The report says that Rodas, the driver, lost control "for unknown reasons" and the car then struck a curb, then a tree and a concrete lamppost and spun around, then hit another tree and burst into flames.
Walker, 40, and Rodas, 38, had taken the sports car out for a short ride in Santa Clarita, Calif., where Walker was attending a charity event.
It was previously announced that the men died of traumatic injuries sustained in the crash. Debris and other roadway conditions were ruled out as a cause of the crash.
