On today's show Patrick Gaspard, executive director of the DNC and former political director for President Obama, joined Luke Russert to discuss Vice President Biden's speech pushing the Buffett Rule.

He also gave his thoughts about Democratic consultant Hilary Rosen's comments about Ann Romney.

Gaspard was adamant about Rosen not being an adviser to the Obama campaign or to the DNC, first saying, "let me correct you at the top, Hilary Rosen is a smart, decent Democratic strategist, but she is not an adviser to the DNC or to the campaign."

When pressed by Luke to clarify that Rosen has no connection to the DNC at the present time Gaspard said, "Hilary Rosen is absolutely not a paid adviser to the DNC or to the Obama campaign. Absolutely not."

When asked if she was an unpaid adviser Gaspard said, "we only pay our advisers."
