Right about the time Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was complaining about the Voting Rights Act and a "perpetuation of racial entitlement," President Obama and the congressional leadership of both parties was dedicating a Capitol Hill statue to Rosa Parks, to be forever featured in Congress' Statuary Hall.
The juxtaposition of the two simultaneous events struck me as rather extraordinary.
