"The Office" is going to be getting a new boss a little earlier than anticipated -- the show announced that Steve Carell's departure would come before the season finale this spring.
Two of the show's regulars, Zach Woods, who plays the brown-nosey Gabe, and Ellie Kemper, who plays his love interest and office assistant Kelly, say that they are gearing up for the departure episode, but don't know how it will play out yet.
"We haven't gotten scripts for that episode," said Woods. "Yeah, I don't even know when we're filming it," Kemper chimed in. Woods did give a hint about an upcoming episode that sounds pretty fantastic: "As it turns out, Michael's been shooting an action movie on his camcorder for the past seven years. He finally finishes it and screens it. It is so, so awkward. It's great," Woods said.
And if you're wondering if Woods and Kemper, who were hanging out together at the NBC after-party at the Globes, might be together in real life, the answer is no. "If we were, we should probably tell my boyfriend," Kemper joked.
