NOW Today: Game changers?

Catch up with NBC News Clone on today's hot topic: Now Today Game Changers Flna403410 - Breaking News | NBC News Clone. Our editorial team reformatted this story for clarity and speed.

This morning we're reminded that just one story has the potential to completely reshape the 2012 race. It's not certain that the news out of Afghanistan will be that story, but the killing of 16 civilians by a rogue U.S. soldier has the Taliban vowing revenge and re-igniting the debate over Afghanistan. After 10 years at war, the issue isn't clear cut, drawing different responses even among the GOP candidates.

And a new poll out this morning has the President's rating on the economy sinking despite signs of economic improvement, including the unemployment rate. Indeed, rising gas prices are taking their toll on the incumbent, and are another issue with perhaps disproportionate sway on the race. We'll have a look at all of it today at noon EDT.
