A variety of complicated rules have been interpreted differently by news agencies in tabulating delegate counts ahead of the GOP nominating convention. MSNBC and NBC News have specific guidelines that will dictate our coverage all day and night, and we thought we'd share them here:
SUPER TUESDAY
424 delegates at stake in 11 states
Primaries: Georgia - 76 Massachusetts - 38 Ohio - 63 Oklahoma - 40 Tennessee - 55 Vermont - 17 Virginia - 46
Caucuses: Alaska - 24 Idaho - 32 North Dakota - 28 Wyoming - 5*
*In Wyoming, there are 26 pledged delegates in total. Five will be allocated on Tuesday, seven more on Saturday, March 10. The remaining 14 will not be determined until mid-April.
