Measured by the polls, members of Congress might have become more unpopular over the last few years.
But they've also become richer.
According to a new study by the non-partisan Center for Responsive Politics, a majority of members of Congress -- for the first time -- are millionaires.
Analyzing personal financial disclosure information, the study found that 268 out of the 534 members of the House and Senate had an average net worth of $1 million or more in 2012.
The previous year, 257 lawmakers (or 48%) were millionaires.
