It's hardly a match made in heaven, and yet Madonna and an Italian nun might well become the new sisters of pop. The American singer tweeted praises for Sister Cristina, who recently won an Italian TV singing contest and just released an unlikely cover of "Like a Virgin."

"Sisters for life!," Madonna tweeted next to a split image of herself and the nun, with the hashtag #touchedfortheveryfirsttime. In another tweet, the Queen of Pop asks an obvious question: "Like a Virgin?" Sister Cristina does not need to answer: she took a vow of chastity right before recording her debut album.
