* North Korea: "North Korea put its rocket units on standby Friday to attack U.S. military bases in South Korea and the Pacific, after repeated threats one day after two American stealth bombers flew over the Korean Peninsula in a military exercise."
* On a related note: "North Korea's state media agencies have been releasing a slew of photos showing the country's actual military build-up, which we are meant to understand is a prelude to war. They are probably bluffing, but you have to admire their attention to detail."

* Justice Antonin Scalia isn't just wrong about gay adoption; he's really wrong.
* A disappointing NPR decision: "NPR on Friday announced it is ending 'Talk of the Nation' after 21 years on the air."
* Tennessee want to privatize Medicaid. The Obama administration isn't fond of the idea.
* The Nevada Assembly yesterday expelled Democratic Assemblyman Steven Brooks -- the body's first ever expulsion. The decision followed "his two arrests, an involuntary psychiatric evaluation, an attempt to buy a high-powered rifle and a string of erratic outbursts." One state lawmaker said, "The truth is we did not feel safe having him in this building,"
* And even Rush Limbaugh believes the right's fight against marriage equality is "lost," and equality is "now inevitable."
