Jeremy Renner, who is nominated for best supporting actor in "The Town," is already in the midst of shooting his next big role, "Mission Impossible 4." During a free moment at the BAFTA Tea Party at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, Renner said that his role in the film remains a little mysterious.
"They're still settling on the character's name," he said (it's unclear if Renner was joking or not). "I go in, and basically get handed the pages for the day. It's a great group of people working on the scripts, the production, so you just trust them."
Is it true that Renner is Tom Cruise's heir apparent, poised to take over the franchise? "I don't know about that," he said sheepishly. "I just go in and do what I do. It's great."
