Wednesday night on the Rachel Maddow Show, Elizabeth Warren talked about the man she’ll be hoping to defeat in November, Republican Sen. Scott Brown, Washington politics as usual, and the Supreme Court’s looming decision on the Affordable Care Act.

Brown used Wednesday evening to appear on a conservative radio show hosted by a friend and call for Attorney General Eric Holder’s resignation over the rapidly self-combusting Fast and Furious non-scandal.

Asked by Maddow for a response, Warren dismissed Brown's move.

“It’s one more politician," she said. "This is really all about politics, and playing this game in Washington. The Republicans think they’ve got something here, and [Brown is] just seeing if he can turn up the temperature on it...this is when people get disgusted by politics. I don’t want anything to do with it.”

Warren also discussed how the Supreme Court might rule on the Affordable Care Act tomorrow. “It’s clear that the Affordable Care Act is constitutional. But whether or not five justices on the Supreme Court will decide that’s the case, I don’t know,” she said.

But aside from its implications for millions of Americans, Warren said, the decision will certainly help cement the legacy of the same court that opened the floodgates to unlimited corporate spending on elections in the Citizens United decision (and affirmed it this week).

“We need to use this moment to reflect on the importance of the Supreme Court and who sits on the Supreme Court," she said. "[The court] is wading into really deep waters, and they're doing it in ways that...worry us all. It's a reminder that whoever sits in the U.S. Senate to review those nominations, to vote on those nominations, really does matter."
