Children of Bellevue, a non-profit organization devoted to creating programs for children and their families at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City, has recognized TODAY’s co-anchor Al Roker and senior producer Jaclyn Levin for their combined efforts with Al’s Book Club for Kids, honoring them at the forthcoming 2012 Toast to the Children on Tuesday, April 24th.

Since debuting in 2007, Al’s Book Club for Kids has been a driving force in child literacy awareness. Highlighting milestones in children’s literature both classic and contemporary, the series is informative, engaging, interactive and, above all, fun.

We join Children of Bellevue in congratulating Al and Jackie for their excellent work with Al’s Book Club for Kids, which is now celebrating its fifth anniversary.
