On page 304 in the April issue of Elle magazine, you will find an interview with the host of “Now with Alex Wagner”. Alex discusses her professional journey, her goal of interlacing of pop culture and politics, and her experience at MSNBC.
When asked about her young look and age, Wagner responded:
“My goal is to show the intermingling between politics and pop culture…Kim’s Kardashian’s excuse about why she got her divorce is, for better or worst, just as interesting and relevant as Herman Cain’s withdrawal from the [presidential] race.”
New York Magazine and MSNBC Political Analyst, John Heilemann added to the article,
“What’s refreshing about Alex, is that she is seriously interested in the substance of politics, yet she makes no attempt to pretend to know stuff she doesn’t.”
In addition, Wagner talked about her experience working with George Clooney on various projects: “It was rewarding and weird…You go from being the Venice film festival with Clooney and Pitt, which is a start-studded, overwhelming thing, and then you are dealing with some of the most impoverished, troubled places in the world.”
Don’t miss “Now with Alex Wagner” weekdays at 12pm ET on MSNBC.
