Search crews are looking for survivors after two small planes crashed in the air in the North Bay Sunday afternoon, according to the Coast Guard.

The Coast Guard said the crash happened at around 4 p.m. about one mile north of the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. One plane landed safely in Ione, Calif., and the other plane crashed into the water.
