Justice Antonin Scalia's son, Paul, a Catholic priest in Virginia, will celebrate Saturday's funeral mass and will give the homily for his father.
Scalia, a devout Catholic, and his wife have nine children including Father Paul Scalia, a priest in the Diocese of Arlington. The late justice’s funeral mass, which will be open to friends and family members, will take place at 11 a.m. at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. A private burial will follow.
On Friday, Scalia's body will lie in repose in the Great Hall of the Supreme Court building. A hearse will arrive at the front of the Court and pallbearers will bring the casket up the steps and into the Supreme Court's Great Hall.

While the sitting Supreme Court justices aren’t expected to come outside of the building, the Scalia family along with court personnel and law clerks, will flank the steps in two lines before going inside for a short ceremony, prayer and reading.
Later that morning the public will be allowed in and will file past the casket and a portrait of Scalia set-up near the doors leading into the courtroom.
President Barack Obama and the first lady will pay their respects on Friday, however the president will not attend Scalia’s funeral on Saturday.
