A 23-year-old man was arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York after two hand guns, two defaced rifles and several ammunition magazines were found in his possession, police said on Saturday.

Keenan Draughon of Clarksville, Tenn., was stopped at security check by Port Authority police officers and taken into custody at 8 a.m. local time on Saturday, Port Authority spokesman Joe Pentangelo told NBC News.

Pentangelo said one of the rifles was loaded.

Draughon, who was bound for Charlotte, N.C., has been charged with six felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon and will be arraigned within 24 hours, Pentangelo said.
